General conditions, Prices and Booking

General conditions:

I.- CAPACITY.

The maximum capacity allowed for the property is 10 people (8+2 folding beds); therefore, if this is exceeded, it may be vacated.

Should the occupation capacity initially contracted be exceeded, the owner of the accommodation may refuse to accept the supplementary places or, at least, charge the corresponding amount.

II.-  REGISTER OF OCCUPANTS.

In accordance with public safety regulations, applicable to all those who provide accommodation for people against payment, Mas del Traça has to send the General Directorate of the Police information concerning the persons staying in the accommodation. All occupants will therefore be requested to complete a registration form. An ID card is compulsory from the age of 14.

III.- MINIMUM STAY.

The minimum occupation is 2 nights.

IV.- ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME 

On weekends, the arrival time will be from 16h to 21h and on the last day of the booking departure from the house will be before 16h.

For weekend stays, departure normally tends to be extended to 17h, provided that it does not coincide with the beginning of a booking by another client. On arrival, it is therefore best to confirm the possible departure time with the person in charge of welcoming you.

On weekdays, the arrival time will be from 14h and departure before 11h.

When beginning your stay on a Sunday, arrival will be from 19h. These times are because our cleaning service has to prepare the house for the next guest.

Always advise us of your expected arrival time in order to be able to receive the keys correctly, without either of the parties having to wait.

If, due to a traffic jam or other problem, you think that you will arrive late, you should advise Mas del Traça, so that the person in charge of welcoming you will wait.

V.- ANIMALS.

No pets are allowed.

VI.- USE OF THE POOL.

The house has an UNSUPERVISED pool suitable for bathing.

The client is therefore exclusively responsible for its use, accepting all liability for the occupants of the house (both adults and children) and for third parties. The pool is separate from the house, is outdoor and does not have a door, entry being free for all guests.

Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to use the pool unaccompanied by an adult responsible for them.

The depth of the pool is 0.91-0.84 m, so it is strictly forbidden to jump or dive in.

VII.- DAMAGE or DETERIORATION.

The client/user of the accommodation undertakes to return what they receive, both the tourist accommodation and its furniture and equipment, in identical conditions, it being their responsibility to replace and repair any losses, damage or deterioration attributable to them. The client also accepts responsibility for the objects or personal goods that they have in the accommodation during their stay.

VIII.- BREAKDOWNS.

Should any problem occur in the house, please notify the contact provided in order to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

In the event of a serious problem or the unavailability of the property, Mas del Traça shall offer the client compensation, seeking alternative accommodation for them.

IX.- EXTRAS.

At the end of the occupation the client shall have to pay the appropriate amounts for complementary services  – not foreseen in the price initially agreed  – which they have used during their stay.

Prices and Tourist Tax:

I.- Prices (including VAT).

They are also posted on the website, and are updated annually in January.

The 2019 prices are as follows:

The price includes:

– Electricity, hot water and heating.

– Bedding and towels. (For stays longer than 6 nights, a change of sheets and towels shall be provided weekly).

– Use of all the household equipment expressly intended for use by guests, use of the pool, and all of the supplementary spaces and facilities of the accommodation.

The price does not include the tourist tax or additional services which may be contracted, such as cleaning, cook, etc…

II.- Tourist Tax.

In accordance with Law 5/2012, of 20 March 2012,  Mas del Traça has to charge occupants for the tax on stays in tourist establishments.

The tourist tax in force for 2019 per person and day is €0.90+ VAT, with a maximum of 7 days.

Children under the age of 16 are exempt from this tax.

This tax will be included on the final bill.

How to book Mas del Traça:

I.- Form.

The client will have to complete the booking form, indicating their first name, surname, arrival and departure date, number of adult occupants and children, e-mail and contact phone number, in addition to indicating that they have read and accept the general conditions. They may also make the additional comments that they consider appropriate.

It is essential to fill in all the details on the form correctly for the booking enquiry to be effective.

We will then contact you from Mas del Traça in order to confirm the availability of the house and the final price, answering any queries that you may have made.

II.- Booking confirmation

Confirmation of availability for a booking does not mean that the property has been reserved.

A booking confirmation and acceptance of the general conditions by the client will be required before blocking the dates.

Payment of the booking will have to be made within the 48 hours following the formalization of the booking, following the instructions provided to you by Mas del Traça:

• When confirming the booking more than 45 days in advance:

–       A deposit of 50% of the total cost will be paid

–       The remaining 50% will be pending, and must be paid 30 days before the date of arrival at the house.

• When the booking is made less than 45 days in advance, payment of 100% of the total cost must be made in order to confirm the booking.

Once the transfer has been received, we will confirm by e-mail.

Should the transfer not be received in the bank account within the five days following the date of confirmation, Mas del Traça will consider it to be cancelled.

When we receive the full amount of the booking in our current account, we will notify the client of receipt of the transfer, and the dates will be blocked on the website calendar.

II.- Payment method.

Payment is only accepted by bank transfer.

III.- Cancellation of the booking.

Refunds for cancellations of bookings will be made with the following conditions:

• Cancellation made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date: 100% refund.
• Cancellation made between 30 and 20 days prior to the arrival date: 50% refund.
• Cancellation made 19 or less days prior to the arrival date: no refund

Client refunds will be made by bank transfer, to the account indicated by the client.

This transfer will be made within a maximum period of 10 days.

The commission for the bank transfer will be for the account of the client, and is 0.50% of the amount, with a minimum of €3.50.

IV.- Effectiveness of the booking.

A booking which does not accept the general conditions described above is not valid.

Acceptance of the booking implies acceptance of all the conditions described above. Mas del Traça may change the booking, cancellation and capacity conditions when considered appropriate.
